v5 - Jan 2022. Welcome 👋! The intent of this tutorial website is to help new users of Arduino to learn enough about the possibilities of microcontrollers and their underlying programming language.
As fun as it is to start right away and create your first project following a tutorial, having a good understanding of how electronics/breadboards work will save you a lot of frustration later, when things do not work as you intended them to work.
Most people, myself included, want to be up and running and making cool projects as soon as possible without the burden of learning details. However, as stated above, this can result in unexpected outcomes. For instance, I roasted my Arduino and Sensors in an Escape Room project since I misunderstood the terminology behind the voltage. I loaded the sensors and board with too much voltage causing the components to malfunction and in the end, everything was broken. I learned a lot from that mistake, and that is one of the reasons I started this blog. There was not a blog or tutorial website that covered all aspects of Arduino together.
Hopefully, this blog will have a little something for everyone.
It should be noted that this is a personal blog and not affiliated to the Arduino company, just a fan that loves writing about it.
You are surrounded by dozens of them every day: they are embedded in timers, thermostats, toys, remote controls, microwave ovens, even some toothbrushes. They just do one specific task, and if you hardly notice them – which is often the case – it’s because they are doing it well. They have been programmed to sense and control activity using sensors and actuators.
ArduinoPlatform Tutorials helps makers, hobbyists, and engineers build electronics projects. Arduinoplatform is a free Arduino resource site for beginners. The main goal of this site is to provide tutorials, tricks, tips, reviews, and other Arduino resources that allow Arduino programmers to improve their projects.
